第一条  校内住宿的留学生毕业离校前须按照《南京林业大学留学生公寓管理规定》履行退宿手续，并于一周内搬离校内宿舍，不得在未经许可的情况下延迟住宿。逾期未搬离者，学院将强制清空宿舍并处置遗留物品，一切财产损失由学生本人承担。

第二条  对已取得本校或国内其他高校硕士、博士研究生录取通知书、且暑期住宿存在实际困难的学生，可在毕业生离校截止日期前按照本办法相关规定，申请办理延期住宿，逾期未申请，视同正常毕业离校，不可补办。

第三条  申请办理延期住宿的毕业生须提供以下材料：

（1）已取得的录取通知书（电子版）；

（2）本人护照原件（电子版）；

（3）本学段毕业证书和学位证书（电子版）；

（4）离校存查单（电子版）；

（5）延期住宿申请书（纸质版）；

上述材料齐备后，经学院审核通过，对情况属实的毕业生准予办理延期住宿。所有延期住宿的毕业生须将毕业证书和学位证书原件存放于学院，延期住宿结束、并按要求完成退宿手续后，方可领取两证原件。

第四条  延期住宿的毕业生须按照留学生公寓管理规定，及时完成现居宿舍的清理和退宿，并于离校截止日期后一周内搬入学院指定的延期住宿宿舍。学生不得指定宿舍居住，且原则上不得居住在原校内宿舍。

第五条  延期住宿学生须服从留学生公寓管理，严禁留宿外来人员，严禁使用违规电器，自觉缴纳住宿期间产生的一切费用，自觉保持宿舍内外干净整齐。一经发现存在任何违规违纪违法行为，立即取消住宿资格，并视情节轻重，通报公安机关出入境管理部门，依法追究相关法律责任。

第六条  毕业生延期住宿期间，学院仅提供住宿场所，学生须严格遵守法律法规和宿舍安全管理规定，对个人人身和财产安全负责。延期住宿期间如发生任何安全事件，一切后果由本人完全承担。

第七条  毕业生延期住宿期间注意保管及爱护公寓内所有宿舍家具及电器设备，不可自行拆卸家具及电器，杜绝人为损坏。公寓管理员将在离校前对毕业生房间门窗、家具、电器等公用设施进行清查，若有损坏或丢失须照价赔偿方能办理离校手续。

本办法解释权归南京林业大学国际教育学院，由国际教育学院负责解释和补充，以中英文书就，若有歧义，以中文表述为准，本规定自颁布之日起施行。

Regulations of Extended Accommodation

for International Graduates of Nanjing Forestry University

Article 1  International students residing in the university dormitories must complete the check-out procedures in accordance with the “Regulations on the Management of International Student Apartments at Nanjing Forestry University” before graduation and leaving the campus, and vacate the dormitories within one week. No extended accommodation is allowed without permission. Those who fail to vacate within the stipulated time shall be responsible for any resulting property damage, for their dormitories shall be forced to clear out and all the belongings left will be disposed of.

Article 2  Graduates who have received the admission letters for master’s or doctoral degree from this university or other domestic universities and unable to settle down the accommodation during the summer vacation after graduation are entitled to apply for extended accommodation according to hereby provisions before the deadline for graduates to leave the campus. No overdue applications will be accepted and those who fail to apply within the stated time shall vacate dormitories on time.

Article 3  Graduates applying for extended accommodation must provide the following materials:

(1) Admission letter received (electronic version);

(2) Original passport (electronic version);

(3) Original diploma and degree certificate of the current study period (electronic version);

(4) Check-out form for leaving the campus (electronic version);

(5) Application for extended accommodation (paper version);

After submitting the above materials, the International Education College will verify the materials and grant permission for extended accommodation according to the authenticity of application. All graduates granted for extended accommodation must deposit the original diploma and degree certificates in the college. After completing check-out procedures at the end of granted extended accommodation period, the original certificates shall be retrieved.

Article 4  Graduates with extended accommodation permission must clean out their current dormitories and complete check-out procedures in accordance with the regulations on the management of international student apartments, and move into the designated dormitories within one week after the deadline for graduates to leave the campus. Those who apply for extended accommodation are not allowed to choose specific dormitories for residence, and in principle, they are not allowed to reside in the original dormitories on campus.

Article 5  Graduates with extended accommodation permission must comply with the management of international student apartments. Accommodating others and utilizing unauthorized electrical appliance are strictly prohibited. Those who are permitted for extended accommodation shall pay for the expenses incurred, and maintain the hygiene and cleanliness of the dormitories. If any violation of the rules and regulations of the university, or even of Chinese laws and legislation occurs, those who are involved shall be discharged from the dormitories immediately. For those who incur severe consequence, the records of violation will be submitted to immigration bureau.

Article 6  Graduates granted for extended accommodation shall abide by the laws and regulations as well as dormitory safety management regulations, and take responsibility for personal and property safety. School, as well as the International Education College provide dormitories for accommodation only, taking no responsibility for personal or property safety of living graduates. In the event of any safety incidents during the extended accommodation period, all consequences will be borne by the students solely.

Article 7 Graduates granted for extended accommodation shall keep and cherish all the furniture and electrical equipment in the dormitory. It is not allowed to dismantle furniture and electrical equipment by themselves to avoid man-made damage. The dormitory administrator will check the windows, doors, furniture, electrical equipment and other public facilities in the graduates’ rooms before they leave the school. If there is any damage or loss, they need to compensate for the price before handling the procedures for leaving the school.

The interpretation right of these regulations belongs to the International Education School of Nanjing Forestry University. The International Education School is responsible for explaining and supplementing these regulations in both Chinese and English. If there is any ambiguity, the Chinese version shall prevail. These regulations shall be implemented from the date of promulgation.
